This philosophy is also present and visible here internally - Alight cares about it's people.  Through various programs and initiatives, our colleagues have access to resources that not only help them and their familites but their communities as well.

Global Service Day
June 18th has been set aside for Alight colleagues around the world to take the day off and take a stand for social justice through a company-wide global service day.  Alight colleagues are given the opportunity to come together to volunteer and/or donate to a cause that matters to them, and collectively have an extraordinary opportunity to magnify the impact we can have.
Employee Assitance Programs

Resources designed to help Alight colleagues enhance their positive mental health, resiliency and work life balance.

No matter where a colleague live, they can speak to independent advisors confidentially about any concerns. Counselors are available to provide just-in-time support, set up ongoing assistance, and/or explain what resources are available in the colleague's area based on the reason for the call.

Alight People Matter Fund
Created to help employees who are facing financial hardship immediately after a natural disaster or an unforeseen personal hardship. The Fund relies primarily on individual donations from employees and support from Alight Solutions, LLC to fund this program. Every contribution helps and when combined with the donations of others can provide a tax-free grant (USA) to help fellow employees in need when they are facing the unexpected.
Alight Cares
Alight provides a platform for all colleagues to make charitable donations or find volunteer opportunities through the Alight Cares web site.  Alight matches colleague donations up to USD$5,000 per year per colleague.

Colleague well-being
Our CHRO announced that as part of Alight's people agenda, colleague well-being is a focus and priority in 2021.  Alight colleagues, globally, have complimentary access to meQuilibrium (meQ) which provides resources to help colleagues maintain their positive physical and mental health.

The meQ program is designed to help you think, feel, sleep, work and play better. Tending to these aspects of your well-being will not only help you navigate current challenges big and small but will also set you up to thrive in the future.
Alight Response Center (ARC)
For natural disasters or other emergencies, The Alight Response Center (ARC) is a one-stop source for immediate advice, resources, and support regarding colleague safety, business disruptions, and data security. Staffed by specially-trained colleagues, the ARC offers immediate advice, resources and support 24/7/365 for situations threatening colleague safety and wellbeing. It also assists with resuming business operations after a disruption and minimizing risks to information Alight manages on behalf of its clients and colleagues.

Awards program - Shine
The Alight Shine program brings greatness to light be recognizing colleagues for going above and beyone expectations. We want to celebrate the many different types of achievements of our colleagues while also creating a consistent global culture to show apprecitation. Colleagues can use Shine to publicly thank/recognize others with a Spark award. Managers can nominate colleagues for a Shine award based on their clear demonstrations of our values.
Colleague Led Communities (CLCs)
In 2021, Alight launched seven new professional networks (with more coming soon) focused on developing, supporting and nurturing our colleagues.  The CLCs provide opportunities for professional 
development as well as networking opportunities​ and are uniquely positioned to promote culture awareness.
