Who Is Eligible?
Regular full-time and part-time colleagues who work at least 20 hours (or 15 hours for retirement) are eligible to participate in Alight’s benefits plans and programs. You can also cover eligible dependents where applicable. Eligibility for temporary colleagues is detailed in our Benefits Guide.
 
Some Core Benefits
​​​​​​Alight automatically provides basic life and AD&D insurance (at two times your salary), as well as dependent life insurance. In addition, you'll have short-term disability coverage (up to 11 weeks at 100% pay), long-term disability coverage, and access to an Employee Assitance Program at no cost.

Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits

Extended Health (which includes vision) and Dental is provided by Desjardins Financial Solutions. Depending on your medical plan selection, you may be able to allocate flex credits to either a Health Care Spending Account (HCSA) or Personal Spending Account (PSA).

Alight Retirement Plan
Two Options:

Defined Contribution Pension Plan (DCP) – Alight makes a 2% contribution to your DCP retirement account , whether or not you choose to make your own contributions. Your participation in the plan is effective at hire, and Alight matches your contributions at 100% of the first 4%. Therefore, your total possible company contributions are 6%. All company contributions are immediately vested.

Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP)– A voluntary plan allowing you to contribute up to 15% of your salary with immediate vesting, but Alight does not offer a match.

You can modify your retirement contribution levels for both accounts at any point throughout the year.
