Choose your coverage level and insurance carrier on the Exchange, a private online marketplace. You will have several coverage levels to choose from, including high deductible plans that can be paired with an HSA, as well as traditional plans with set co-pays.
Who Is Eligible? Regular full-time and part-time colleagues Regular full-time and part-time colleagues (who work at least 20 hours per week) are eligible to participate in Alight’s benefit plans. You can also cover eligible dependents (spouses, domestic partners and children), where applicable.
Temporary colleagues If you are a temporary or seasonal colleague working at least 20 hours per week, you will have an opportunity to enroll in our medical, dental, vision and critical illness insurance only. If you enroll, you will pay the full cost of your coverage and be directly billed.
There are different eligibility requirements for the Alight 401(k) Plan. Some Core Benefits Alight automatically provides basic life and AD&D insurance at two times your salary, in addition to short-term disability coverage (up to 11 weeks at 100% pay), and access to an Employee Assistance Program.
401k Savings Plan
The Alight 401(k) Plan supports your savings goals and helps you save for the future. The Alight 401(k) Plan is an important part of your financial security. It’s a valuable benefit that gives you an easy and convenient way to save, as well as the choice and flexibility you need to achieve your savings goals. The Alight 401(k) Plan also adds to your savings power through matching and other company contributions.
You are eligible to save on your first day of work if you are a full-time or part-time U.S. colleague scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week. You will become eligible to receive matching company contributions on the first of the month after 6 months of service with the company. If you are a temporary or part-time U.S. colleague regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, you are eligible to save and receive matching company contributions on the first of the month after your 6 months of service with the company.
Your participation in the plan is effective at hire, and after six months Alight matches your contributions at 100% of the first 1%, and 50% of the next 6%. Once you become eligible for matching, you’re also eligible for the company-provided annual Retirement Account Contribution (RAC) of 2.5% of your eligible earnings. Therefore, your total possible company contributions (matching contributions plus RAC) equal 6.5%. All company contributions are vested after two years of service.
