Inclusion at Alight

We are a company for all people.

"At Alight, one of our core values is people matter—all people. We chose that value because we believe it is at the core of who we are and what we do. We believe that the best ideas can come from anywhere, and we strive every day to create opportunities for a diverse set of voices to be heard."

Our promise.

At Alight, we believe that diversity should be visible, valued, and sustained throughout the organization. Alight provides equal treatment and employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to any protected status or other protected characteristic.

Shaping an inclusive culture.

We are working towards building cross-cultural competence, eliminating bias, expanding access to careers, and empowering our people to reimagine how we do things different.

Thinking forward.

Resources organized around some of the leading ways every colleague can make an impact at Alight. Each resource provides guides, best practices, research, tools, and insights for addressing specific challenges to put our people first.

Alight's Inclusion Council

The Council's goal is to help Alight strengthen our culture, establish and prioritize inclusion goals, serve as advocates, lead change and drive inclusion efforts. They collaborate with our executive team, our sponsors and our colleagues to bring our core values to life as we strive to make Alight a best place and safe space to work.

Who they are
Inspired by Alight’s purpose, the Council is committed to reimagining how our people and our organization can thrive inclusively. This team is made up of 24 diverse colleagues from various levels within the organization.

On May 14, 2020 the Campus Recruitment hosted their first Diversity & Inclusion webinar:
"How to navigate the interview process as a person of color."

Alight invited students from the following historically Black colleges and universities: Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University to attend this free, live webinar.

Several panelists from Alight provided their insights and shared their career journeys after college. You can watch the recording of this engaging discussion here:
