At Alight, we believe that diversity should be visible, valued, and sustained throughout the organiztion.  We are committed to enabling an inclusive culture of belonging that engages all colleagues and grows the diversity of our talent to proudly represent the clients and communities we serve.

That is why we start with inclusion. For us, inclusion is a verb. It is the act of creating an environment where colleagues can bring their whole selves to work, reach their full potential, and feel that they belong. When we act inclusively and colleagues feel they belong, that action is reflected in our diversity. Diversity for us is measurable, both visible and non-visible, and balanced. This balance is reflected in:

Certified Diversity Recruiter
Alight recruiters are AIRS certified
The entire Alight Talent Acquisition team completed the AIRS Certified Diversity Recruiter program in December 2020. 
Our Strategy

Our strategy fulfills our promise by bringing action to words.  Our Global Inclusion and Diversity office is an integral part of driving the I&D strategy forward.  The office provides direct oversight to the company’s colleague communities, councils and networks. ​​​​​​​
Colleague Led Communities
Our employee resource groups are call Colleague Led Communities (CLCs) as we refer to our employees as colleagues. Our Global CLCs are an integral component of Alight's commitment to drive change in diversity and inclusion by:


  • Sharing knowledge and acting as a bridge across cultural issues
  • Working as an employee support system providing education, personal growth, information and idea sharing
  • Assisting with recruitment and retention efforts
  • Supporting managerial effectiveness, leadership development, succession planning and communication with colleauges

On May 14, 2020 the Campus Recruitment hosted their first Diversity & Inclusion webinar:
"How to navigate the interview process as a person of color."


Alight invited students from the following historically Black colleges and universities: Johnson C. Smith University, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Prairie View A&M University and Texas Southern University to attend this free, live webinar.
